PinWheelz 4 Kids Festival
The Highlands County Sheriff's Office and the Champion for Children Foundation of Highlands County, Inc. have partnered to bring the first ever PinWheelz 4 Kidz Festival to downtown Sebring on April 1, from 10am-1pm. The event, food, and all activities are open to the public and provided at no cost to those attending.
The purpose of this event is primarily to offer a positive, enriching family day for our local children. This will include a unique opportunity for children to see and sit in numerous corvette cars, and enjoy free food, music, and family-friendly activities. The PinWheelz 4 Kidz Festival is helping raise awareness throughout the community by kicking-off Child Abuse Prevention and Autism Awareness Month (April), while also serving as a fundraiser for the Champion for Children Foundation’s Prevention Services and Assistance Program through event sponsorships.
Numerous child and family-focused partner agencies are partnering together for this event, and will have tables set up around the Circle to provide educational and positive enrichment information to attendees, as well as fun activities for children to participate in.
We are currently looking for sponsors to make this event an impressive success for our local kids! Will you consider joining us? Sponsorships may be sent in through the Foundation website: https://www.championforchildren.org/donate, or checks mailed to the Champion for Children Foundation of Highlands County, Inc. P.O. Box 7125 Sebring, Florida 33872 (memo: PinWheelz). Thank you for your strong support of #OurChildrenOurFuture!
