11-15-13  Downtown Sebring Gears Up for Small Business Saturday
The Sebring Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) is encouraging people to do their holiday shopping by buying local on Nov. 30 for Small Business Saturday, which is an awareness campaign started by American Express that takes place in local communities across the nation to support local business that create jobs, boost the economy and preserve neighborhoods around the country. The Sebring Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) will host its monthly “What’s Up Downtown Sebring?” meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 26 at 5:30 PM at Cornerstone Hospice located at 209 N. Ridgewood Drive. 11-28-13  26th Annual Sebring Christmas Carousel of Lights Begins Nov. 30 With First-Ever Circle Lighting Ceremony
The 26th annual Sebring Christmas Carousel of Lights – the area’s largest holiday light display – can be seen at Downtown Sebring’s Circle Park every night from 6:00-9:00 PM starting Saturday, Nov. 30 with the event’s first Circle Lighting Ceremony at 6:00 PM and continuing through Dec. 28. The Carousel of Lights features nightly visits and photos with Santa, children’s games, an interactive puppet show and a computerized light show repeat during the event each night. The month of April includes two very special recognitions: 1) International Mother Earth Day is a celebration of the Earth and its ecosystems, which provide all of its inhabitants with life and sustenance. Observed each year on April 22, this day is a call to action as it acknowledges our collective responsibility “to promote harmony with nature and the Earth” in order to ”achieve a just balance among the economic, social, and environmental needs of present and future generations” of humanity. 2) Arbor Day encourages people to appreciate, plant and care for trees. 3-25-13 – Sebring CRA Votes To Assist Downtown District Businesses Impacted By County-Wide Property Damage Shootings

6-23-12  Fifteen New Buinesses Locate in Downtown Sebring
The Sebring Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) is successfully bringing new businesses into the Downtown Sebring area. Since 2010, 15 new businesses have opened in downtown.
