The first ever Sebring Soda Festival is garnering a lot of local support and excitement with more than 30 sponsors and 40 non-profit organizations hosting tasting tents, as well as other businesses and organizations participating in various aspects of the event.
Highlands Regional Medical Center is the Title Sponsor, along with the following Presenting Sponsors: the Greater Sebring Chamber of Commerce, Visit Sebring/Highlands County Tourist Development Council (TDC) and the Sebring Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA).
“This endeavor was a community partnership from the beginning with the Chamber, TDC, and CRA, as well as Sebring Soda & Ice Cream Works,” said Liz Barber, CEO/President of the Greater Sebring Chamber of Commerce. “We are thrilled to unveil months of hard work this weekend and celebrate good, old-fashioned fun in historic downtown Sebring for both tourists and locals to attend while showcasing our area businesses and non-profit organizations.”

Kick off the 12 Hours of Sebring race festivities, a “throwback” Race Gala will take place on Wednesday, March 14 at the Sebring Civic Center. Attendees can celebrate the city’s internationally-acclaimed sports event and experience the race gala like many members of the Sebring community remember with good, old-fashioned community fun!
“The Race Gala has always been the race event for Sebring to celebrate the races and the exciting time in our community,” said Sebring Mayor John Shoop. “The Art League has done a great job carrying on the traditional of the Race Gala, and we are thrilled to bring the event back to its Wednesday night (before the race) date.” Attendees can experience an international food, wine and beer tasting, along with a cash bar, live music and race festivities.
