4-2-13 – Downtown Sebring “Celebrates Mother Earth” With Eco-Friendly Happenings in April
The month of April includes two very special recognitions: 1) International Mother Earth Day is a celebration of the Earth and its ecosystems, which provide all of its inhabitants with life and sustenance. Observed each year on April 22, this day is a call to action as it acknowledges our collective responsibility “to promote harmony with nature and the Earth” in order to ”achieve a just balance among the economic, social, and environmental needs of present and future generations” of humanity. 2) Arbor Day encourages people to appreciate, plant and care for trees. 3-25-13 – Sebring CRA Votes To Assist Downtown District Businesses Impacted By County-Wide Property Damage Shootings

11-25-12 Downtown Sebring’s Holiday Festivities Begin Dec. 1
The area’s largest Christmas lighting display can be seen at Downtown Sebring’s Christmas Carousel of Lights located on the Circle from 6:00-9:00 PM starting Dec. 1 and continuing through Dec. 28. 6-23-12  Fifteen New Buinesses Locate in Downtown Sebring
The Sebring Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) is successfully bringing new businesses into the Downtown Sebring area. Since 2010, 15 new businesses have opened in downtown. 11-15-2010 – Downtown Sebring Offers Businesses More Incentives
The Sebring Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) voted to re-instate the Downtown Advantage Program, which was used in the early 1990s.  This is just one more incentive-based program to make Downtown Sebring properties competitive with other retail and professional space.  The program provides financial assistance with the interior leasehold improvements new tenants need to build out the stores for their needs.   Downtown Advantage

2-26-2010 “Taste of the Race” Provides Gastronomic Tour of Downtown Sebring
SEBRING, Fla. (Feb. 26, 2010) – The Greater Sebring Chamber of Commerce and Downtown Sebring will host the “Taste of the Race” on Thursday, March 18 from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.  Each year, nearly 2,000 people help kick off the annual 12 Hours of Sebring with this gastronomic tour of Downtown Sebring.  The historic sports cars will arrive downtown from the track via police escort around 11:00 a.m.  Vendors will be on site with food, beverages and fun activities.  Get PDF of Full Press Release
